Post Treatment care • No caffeine for 48 hours after treatment. • No alcohol for 48 hours after treatment. • You need to drink 1.5 litres of water after the treatment and 2 litres a day every day for 3 days. • 10 minutes of exercise within 12 hours after the treatment to stimulate lymphatic system. • Avoid fatty foods and maintain a healthy diet. We advise you cut down on your calories intake and alcohol, as the treatment may be compromised. • Apply Aloe Vera on the area to cool if needed. Post Treatment Reactions • Reddening of the skin • Temporary bruising/swelling to the skin, this could take up to 3 weeks to subside. • Temporary dulling sensation to the area. • Some clients may feel pain within this area, this will subside but may take up to 3 weeks. • Freezer burns can occur on the odd occasion. • You may feel fatigued or suffer with a headache for up to 24 hours after treatment.

There are a few side effects with this treatment, such as tiredness, reddening of the skin, temporary bruising or swelling , temporary dulling sensation to the area and clients can feel pain in the treated area this can take up to 3 weeks to subside. On the rear occasion the skin may get slightly burnt. The treatment is extremely safe and side effects are rare.

You can see up to a 22% fat reduction within one treatment and most women have said they have lost a dress size. Results depend on the person and size of the area, some people notice results within the first few weeks, however it can take up to 16 weeks for the full effect. Depending on the thickness of your fat and your personal goals, fat freezing may be repeated in the same area or different areas to achieve your desired result. Treatment can be repeated after one month on a different area and two months on the same area.

The cryo handle is applied to the treatment area target for weight loss. The handle uses advanced cooling technology to select target fat cells and freeze them. This procedure is known as apoptosis( controlled cell death) and is gradually eliminated from the body through the lymphatic system. When fat cells are subject to being cooled below body temperature the freezing causes the fat cells to die followed by a local inflammatory response. When fat cells are exposed to extreme cold conditions , the body’s usual response is to restrict circulation to keep the core of the body at the correct temperature. Cryolipolysis makes use of a powerful vacuum which adds to the inflammatory response by drawing blood and fat cells to the surface layers of the skin killing the cells.
