HIFU Face and Body
What is HIFU
HIFU stands for high intesity focused ultrasound and is known as the non-surgical facelift without the knife HIFU knife .Clinical studies have found that the regenerative process of new collagen are optimized at temeratures of 60-70 celcius. HIFU is the only treatment that can deliver these temperatures to the required depth without heating the surface of the skin.
HIFU frequency is above 20,000hz sound waves intended to sculp and lift the skin. It achieves this by the way of deposition of micro-focused ultrasound energy.HIFU reaches depths of 1.5mm to 4.5mm on the face and neck and 8mm and 12mm on the body. Ultrasound energy results in a change to the physioligy, resulting in stimullation of new collagen and elastin as part of the healing process.
HIFU is a non-surgical and non-laser proceedure that directs beams of high intensity ultrasound deep into the layers of the skin gently heating the skin tissues to lift and tighten aged skin without insicions or damage to the surface of the skin. HIFU heats up the SAMS (explained below) part of the skin to between 60-70C this raises thermal coagulation which accelerates skin rejuvenation and maximises the tightening affect.
What is SAMS
Superficial Muscular Apo-neurotic System it refers to the broad coverage and deep tissue layer below the Subcutaneous layer. Which is the part where fat tissue is conected to the skin.
